It is with mixed feelings that we write to let you know that after a good run of 21+ years, the traditional MarketBrowser offering is being retired.

Effective March 31, 2022, Leading Market Technologies, Inc. (LMT) will cease offering MarketBrowser as a commercial service that supports exchange-licensed data (equities and funds). Owing to ever increasing data prices from exchanges and proprietary pricing services, it is no longer commercially viable for LMT to provide such data through MarketBrowser.

For most users, this means you will want to stop using MarketBrowser entirely. To this end, we will be offering pro-rata refunds for any current subscribers who wish it. For the handful of users who use MarketBrowser only to analyze economic data and other non-proprietary data sources, nothing will change.

Over the next few weeks, you will receive follow up email messages with details on:

• How pro-rata refunds will be handled for subscribers
• How to continue to use MarketBrowser with non-proprietary data sources, for those who are interested

Also, please know that LMT will:

• Continue to support MarketBrowser for its non-proprietary data sources (e.g. economic indicators, currencies, cryptocurrencies, etc.)
• Continue normal operations with its profitable product lines

Many of you have been with us for years or even decades, and there is much to look back on with satisfaction. When we first offered MarketBrowser back in 2001, it was quite exciting to use new technologies to break down barriers for Individual Investors. Over two decades, the market evolution continued, exhilarating and irreversible. We can reflect on a proud history of “bringing Wall Street to Main Street,” but over time Wall Street has now comfortably taken up residence on Main Street. There is no longer much space for independent entities like MarketBrowser.
